What a great experience meeting Rachel and Lucas for the first time and shooting their pre wedding photos. (Rachel and Lucas were the elated winners of the Epic Wedding Competition I organised at the beginning of the year). They won an awesome Brighton Wedding Photography Package! By golly that was one super phone call to make – when I called Rachel to tell her that she (and Lucas) had won the Epic Wedding Competition! Altogether, Rachel and Lucas won a cracking wedding photography package with yours truly, worth £1850, a breath of fresh hair wedding day AND pre wedding bridal hair trial with Stone Hair Hove worth £800 and gorgeous wedding day makeup AND pre wedding bridal makeup trial with Monica Cortes Makeup Artist worth £290. They were pretty wrapt!
Brighton Based Winners
Wow and it couldn’t have gone to a more gorgeous loved up couple either. Beautiful and natural Brighton based bride to be, Rachel said in her competition entry “Lucas makes me laugh every single day…all out belly laughs! He is thoughtful and kind, incredibly creative, intelligent, smart..and he really has no idea how great he is. He compliments me daily, seems to love me exactly as I am…oh and he is a fantastic chef!”. I love that! and I can confirm Lucas is a lovely guy too.
The guys are getting married in Ticehurst, East Sussex at the end of August. They are planning a relaxed, low key day with their nearest and dearest and “great grub, a good ol’ catch up, a few games and a beverage or three!”. This type of wedding photography really sounds like me!
Pre Wedding Shoot at Rottingdean Beach
We had the lovely pre wedding shoot at Rottingdean Beach and got to know each other a bit better, which always helps loads when it comes to shooting the actual wedding. The guys were adamant (in the nicest possible way!) that they didn’t want anything too posey or cheesy! This was music to my ears! We just had a lovely wander around the beach and rocks and played around a little. What absolutely lovely people to be around and I can’t wait to shoot their wedding in August.
